of signed ribbons against the CRTC ruling and against the pornography industry in Canada. League
members have a long history of fighting pornography (it used to be termed “salacious literature”). See
resolutions 2003.08 National Strategy to Eliminate Computer-Based Child Pornography, 2002.12 Child
Pornography, 1984.13 Pornography, 1984.03 Classification of Home Video Films, and 1983.13 Campaign
Against Pornography.
Pornography hurts.
Pornography is slavery.
Pornography’s effects are life-long.
Pornography serves no good purpose.
Pornography leads to addiction and harmful acts.
Pornography exists only to make money for the producers.
Pornography harms women, children and society in general.
